mole removal

A removal of imminent danger.

A cut through the epidermis and dermis, but not fat or muscle.

The beginning of a waiting period.

It’s three dissolvable stitches underneath and one long continuous stitch up top to be removed at a later date.

A scar tissue tattoo.

An erasure of family heritage.

It’s not comfortable.
